About Me

Honor Medina, M.Ed., LMFT, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, Equus Coach® Master Facilitator

I’m a therapist, coach, and facilitator who helps people step out of old patterns and into the life they’ve been longing to live. My approach blends deep listening with experiential methods — EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, Equus coaching — that work with the whole self, not just the thinking mind.
I’ve spent over three decades in the field, but my work began long before I had a title. From childhood, I could sense the truth beneath people’s words and feel when something was out of alignment. That sensitivity, paired with my own healing journey, shaped the way I practice today: with compassion, honesty, and a belief that lasting change comes from integrating all parts of our experience — the beauty and the pain, the love and the fear.
Now based in Edgewood, New Mexico, I work with clients online and in person, offering sessions that help them move from stuckness into clarity and freedom. My philosophy is simple but profound: healing and growth happen when we can hold “And” & “Both” — allowing complexity, embracing our full humanity, and letting what no longer serves us finally release.

And & Both™ is more than a phrase — it’s a philosophy of living and healing.
It’s the practice of holding space for two truths, two emotions, or two experiences at the same time — even when they feel like opposites. It’s knowing that growth and discomfort can exist together, that joy can sit alongside grief, and that we can love ourselves even while we’re still learning and changing.
When we stop trying to choose one over the other and instead hold both, something powerful happens: the tension eases, the story shifts, and what’s been heavy begins to release.
And & Both™ isn’t about “fixing” or bypassing pain — it’s about expanding our emotional capacity so we can live with more honesty, compassion, and freedom.
