What is Biofeedback?
I use the SCIO (Scientific Consciousness Interface Operations System) feedback system. Biofeedback is a stress management system that combines bioresonance and biofeedback fields for body analysis and energy balancing. The SCIO system measures electrophysiological reactions and patterns through a “harness” of electro-magnetic electrodes attached to the head, ankles and wrists. The SCIO measures the body’s electric output and produces feedback for wound healing, pain reduction, relaxation, and stress reduction through electrical stimulation.
The SCIO is designed to correct the manifestation of stress and/or electro-stress patterns within the individual at the most primal of physiological levels. The device works on the theory that stress disrupts the inherent electromagnetic frequencies at which the body’s cells, organs, etc. resonate and that by returning these frequencies to their natural state, the stress and any subsequent illness that occurred because of the disruption can be corrected. Studies have shown that people who are over-stressed produce different patterns of brain waves than do people who are not over-stressed, and that reversal of that stress, in particular through techniques such as biofeedback training that employ the individual in controlling their return to stress-free living, can result in the abnormal patterns becoming normal.
The SCIO tunes into the body’s physiological stress levels so that this information can be used to control the physiology, and consequently affect a decrease in those stress levels, resulting in improved physical and emotional well-being.
What happens during a Biofeedback session?
You will wear wrist and ankle bracelets as well as a head harness. The bracelets and head harness contain electrodes that are connected to the SCIO Biofeedback system. The electrodes/sensors comfortably read electrical impulses from the body and send the information to the computer which acts as a monitoring device.
Based on the data collected from the Biofeedback system, I will educate you about what specific areas of the body/mind are most in need of stress reduction. While the Biofeedback process is completely non-invasive and gentle, this powerful stress management support system allows relaxation and increased ability for the body to heal. If you desire, I will also coach you on how to negotiate life-style changes if needed.
The body is designed to heal itself. The process of biofeedback is not to heal, but to help the body remember the balanced and stress free state. When it is entrained to the healthier patterns of a relaxed state, this process of self-regeneration of happens naturally.
How long is a Biofeedback session?
A Biofeedback session lasts between 45 – 90 minutes. When you book a session, please budget for the full 90 minutes.
Biofeedback for animals?
Yes, I provide Biofeedback for both large animals and small animals. For large animals, a harness is placed around the large animal’s girth. Smaller animals lay on a soft pad for the Biofeedback session. For large animals, I will travel within Eddy, Chaves, and Lea Counties in New Mexico. For small animals, I recommend you book a session at my farm. Please contact me with questions.
How many sessions are needed?
Biofeedback is an entrainment process. Entrainment is a well-studied phenomenon within physics, by which two separate systems, operating at varying frequencies, will settle into a common frequency when situated within one’s field of influence. It may take the body multiple sessions to entrain or “relearn” healthier patterns. Some people respond very quickly, especially those whose lifestyle choices are already aligned with good health.
Some people may benefit from more education which would include training and support to improve nutrition, exercise, sleep, or avoiding addictive substances. The longer a person has held certain stress patterns which are causing them pain or illness, the more sessions they may need to begin re-balancing or re-training those patterns and reactions.
I have seen many people improve with 3-6 sessions. Auto-immune disorders and other chronic illnesses often require 2-4 sessions per month until symptoms improve.
